Here in Missouri were we have frequent outages you have to have gas and or gennys. The problem is things grow too fast here and virtually impossible to stop outages The electric company works hard and does a good job overall but can’t stop some. The ice storm in 07 left the entire area out for 11 days. People who had all electric ended up with serious damage including frozen water lines.

We have a winner.
They don’t go after China for two reasons. First, they don’t actually believe CO2 causes warming. Second, they can’t do jack about China, but still, you’d think there’d at least be cursory and symbolic protests of China’s pollution if that’s what they really cared about. Not a peep.

It’s for the same reason no one seems to care where and how Covid came about. China has a hold on us, and it’s got to be a follow-the-money thing.
Oh I understand that due to originally from Ohio. Living in the south now and our electric rarely goes out. We are lucky in that.
