Yeah--He's "spiritual" -- Not Christian. He just confuses the two terms.
With your negative attitude showing, you are doing a good Pharisee imitation. Be skeptical, that is healthy. But always read the Bible and Pray and Meditate on its meaning.
The real key is to learn to feel Love. Satan cannot imitate Love. He can fool logic. If your heart is closed and critical, pray that the Holy Spirit open it to feeling Love.
It is ok to disagree with my words as I always reserve the right to be wrong. I only ask that you pray for me that I may gain greater understanding.

If I were doing it from ego and claiming to use the will of Jesus to do the work, what you say would be true.
But if I step aside and allow Jesus who is in me to take over and work through me, then Jesus does not proclaim His own name as it is by His Father’s authority working through Him that the work is done.
This is how the Holy Spirit works when it does the work through us. It’s not me speaking, so you would need to criticize Jesus for not using His own name. Not me.
“On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers’” (Matthew 7:21-23).
