In 2016 I was with a woman when she died of bone cancer. She heard her corgies barking several days prior to her departure. I heard them too even before she mentioned it. They were there to greet her.

I am so glad to hear this. There are some dogs and and cats I want to see again. I also want to see my grandmothers and my great aunt. My uncle. I was sick in the hospital with a sinus infection as a young mother with children. I had been unhappy in my marriage. Tired. Not loved, in a critical environment. Spirits came to me and said I had done enough and I could come home. The choice was mine. I thought about it and decided my two year old little boy needed me and I would stay. In the days following healing powers were zinging around me healing me and I was able to get better and go home. Exactly one year later, my beautiful daughter was born. My life was not easy, but the fear of death was gone, it would have been easy to slip through at that moment in the hospital, just a letting go. So I know there is a lot we don’t know.
Pharmaceuticals such as SSRI’s like Prozac block people from finding, embracing, and resolving the wounds in their souls.
Thus while the do sometimes save lives, they hinder soul growth.
This is what causes the “flat affect” in people when they use them.
When a person on these drugs say prayers, nothing happens. Their prayers are like the prayers of Pharisees, falling upon deaf ears.
The drugs block a person from going lower where their unresolved problems create discomfort, but also block them from raising their consciousness in prayer.
That being said, NEVER STOP USING THESE DRUGS COLD TURKEY. They do save lives.
They should only be stopped:
1. Under the supervision of a Dr.
2. Gradually, never cold turkey.
3. While using a therapist or pastor to help us learn to resolve the wounds as they surface.
Otherwise the flood gates will open and the person gets overwhelmed, returning to the drugs more addicted than ever.
