If you are a follower of Christ, then you know the second part is not reality. Dead people do not wander around.
I am a follower of Christ. If someone was dead and was known to be not staying in the realm of death,...
Remember what Jesus said... Matthew 7:
True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Quite a few people here criticized me for not driving them out in Christ’s name. But if Christ is working through you, He does not use His own name as He is doing the work of Our Father. His Power is so great that the Love and Radiance of Light does all the work.
When I am around someone who is connected to Christ, I feel the Love radiating outward from their chest. I’ve felt it with several, but not all Catholic Priests.
I feel a similar Love radiating from a woman’s womb when the soul first enters the fetus. The Love feels like a firehose it is so strong. Often I will know a woman is pregnant before she does by this Love radiating from the child’s soul that is pure as it just left Heaven.
Right up until the time you see the “ghost” of someone who just died, not sure where to go and they clearly aren’t a familiar spirit or demon. If your theology isn’t already stretched, that will do it. I was on a prayer and deliverance team in the 1980s. Not for the faint of heart or legalistic. Remember the 7 sons of Sceva? May the Holy Spirit guide and enlighten us all.
“Dead people do not wander around.”
May you be visited by a ghost to change your mind if you so desire. They are as real as real can be. I would not wish it on anyone.
I’ve been to many funerals and viewings where I see the deceased person standing there observing. At one, an elderly minister’s wife died. I had never met them previously as they were distant relatives and I went to provided transportation for minister’s brother to attend his sister in law’s funeral.
When the minister’s deceased wife saw me and realized that I could see her, she got all emotional. This influenced her husband, the minister who she was standing next to, and he started crying when we first met as strangers.
1 John 4:1-3 ESV
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
First, If all spirits were bad, why would the Bible teach you how to “Test” them?
Second, This scripture tells you how to identify “good spirits.”
This scripture works and is very powerful. When I first heard it, it was coming out of my mouth and I had never read nor heard that scripture.
The words asked two old grandparent spirits with blue eyes and grey hair if the “Believed that Jesus was born in the flesh.” The male spirit answered me and said, “We Know Jesus.”
To which the reply came out of my mouth, “THAT WAS NOT THE QUESTION, AND AGAIN DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS WAS BORN IN THE FLESH?”
Their blue eyes turned to black and then to red as their true nature of evil imposters came out.
It was not me doing the work as I never knew these scriptures. I read them in the Bible about a month later for the first time. The Holy Spirit knew them and said them out of my mouth.
Agreed. Just a thought but yeah not real imho.
