What if the spirit that has attached itself to you isn’t Christian?
What if? It definitely is not. They’re demons.
True Christians don’t get stuck as the focus on Jesus guides a soul through the process.
What I speak of are universal truths. God is God, the Light is the Light.
A “Name” is a metaphor for a pattern of consciousness that has meaning. The same is true for a “word.”
Thus the meaning of John 1, in the beginning was the word.. and that word was made flesh.
Think about it.
“What if the spirit that has attached itself to you isn’t Christian?”
First, there’s no such thing as a spirit of a formerly living person. When a person dies, IMMEDIATELY he is transported either to Heaven or Hell. And that depends on what decision he has made in his own lifetime, i.e., accepted or rejected Christ. After death, no amount of praying, candle lighting, etc., by friends and family can change that.
So, if something “attaches” to a living person it couldn’t possibly be a Christian. Demons aren’t Christian.
If the person is a born-again Christian, it’s possible a demon could influence him. It isn’t possible for the demon to possess him and share space with the Holy Spirit.
If the person isn’t a born-again Christian he definitely could be possessed by a demon. There’s a lot of that going on in Washington, DC — and I’m not making a joke.
