As much as I like the results...this means the study was totally worthless:

“after adjusting for age, sex, ethnicity, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, smoking status, and tea and alcohol consumption”

You CANNOT statistically adjust for a factor unless you first know how much of a factor it is. Exactly HOW much does blood pressure affect things? Are you talking 140/90 or 190/120? Will “high blood pressure” result in a 12% increase or 14% increase or 1% increase? No one knows, just as no one knows if 140/90 actually affects anything! And how do you measure blood pressure? The study that was used to create a lower threshold had participants wait in a darkened room listening to soft music for 15 minutes before their blood pressure was taken. Who does that in the real world?

If 12% of coffee drinkers had higher blood pressure in varying degrees, how does one remove that from how it affects the outcome?

YOU CANNOT STATISTICALLY ADJUST FOR FACTORS OF UNKNOWN SIZE!

If I drink too much caffeine coffee I get the runs. I’ve had to cut back on the caffeine.

Would be excellent if you could do that through out the winter.

A lot of beds sold these days vibrate. Mine does. I have it set on low vibrate because it makes too much racket if I set it on high.

If all this woke crap keeps up, I’m quitting coffee tomorrow.

My dad’s been drinking 8 cups of coffee per day and he’s in his 70’s. I’ve been drinking coffee since I was 11. BLACK. Not this fag homo weak-ass mammpy pamby, sugar and milk nonsense.

Are you a fan of Nonna Clara? Love her grandson's videos of her cooking tips. She takes cream in hers but here's her Italian coffee episode anyway:

(She must be a relative of John Turturro--her young photos resemble him.)

All my girlfriends know the exception is honey. Not sugar . But 99% it’s raw black coffee.

That depends largely on the size of mug, now doesn’t it?
I guess you have to have some sort of unit of measurement.
Me? I have mugs that are about 8, some 12, some are 24, some 36.

What is it about coffee that is so healthy? Sounds as if it is the coffee beans themselves.

Folgers 100% Colombian for me. I’ve been known to partake their instant too. In the Army on training deployments it was Tasters Choice freeze dried. Mixed with Parmalat milk and the MRE cocoa packet was the Mocha bomb.

Same here...beans are freshly ground a cup at a time for my wife and I, then we each use a splash of half and half...sugar is poison, and we don’t use it. Ick.

Do you heed the sage Yogi Berra’s advice: “When you come to the fork in the road, take it”?
