On a side note seems that major cause of death of seniors is pneumonia, I think that is because seniors don't have enough back muscle strength to keep body up right...so chest is compressed resulting in low oxygen flow.

I think you are right about that. My husband is 84 and he is getting terribly stooped. His back is bent the same as the back of his recliner. He never walks unless it's to the bathroom or kitchen and back. If he leaves his recliner to go to the kitchen, he has to stop, sit in one of the chairs I have strategically placed, and get his breath back before he can continue. I have nagged and nagged at him to start walking more but he refuses.
He took a terrible fall this morning and I almost called 911. He had walked to the utility room to get his shirt out of the dryer (warming it up) and sat on my little bench in the utility room to rest before heading back to his recliner. I have a dog gate going into the utility room to keep the dogs out of there and to keep them from running out the door where there is no fence. I was standing at the gate while he huffed and puffed, and I saw his feet start sliding forward and the bench start to lean. I yelled at him to sit back, twice, and his brain is getting so slow that before I could get through the gate to grab him, he fell over and landed with his back across the bench. I'm in there by that time. His eyes were rolled back in his head, he was barely breathing, and his arms and legs were jerking. I slapped around on him until his eyes rolled back down but he couldn't talk. He finally yelled NO when I told him I was calling 911. I told him that if I couldn't sit him up, I was calling 911. I grabbed his hands, braced my back against the freezer, and finally pulled all 200 pounds of him up into a sitting position to get his back off the bench. He sat there catching his breath while I hunted slippers to keep his stocking feet from sliding out from under him while I stood him up. I was able to get him to the next chair, then to the next chair, until he finally made it back to his recliner. The little bench is in the garbage and a sturdy chair is in its place.
He needs to thank the Lord I was home, and he's married to somebody in good shape that is 20 years younger than he is. I really think he would have died in that position if I hadn't been here to get him into a sitting position.
My daughter is a strong conservative and ultra resourceful. Not all younger-uns are ruined, look at Trump’s rallies - plenty of younger-uns.
(I did raise my kids without TV and mostly home schooled...)

Loss power last night about 3am and still experiencing high wind gusts and rain. But things are getting better with the storm out to sea. They are calling this a 500 year flood event for Florida. My radio was going off all night with flood warnings. The only damage I see is that my neighbors fence is blown away. Thank for all the prayers. God is good.
