Why is that? Shouldn't investors leaving the stock market be shifting at least some of their assets to gold?
Regards,
Paper gold means that real gold is collateralized over and over.
They can print out as much paper gold as they wish.
If you are not looking at real gold you don’t own gold.
Right now for instance there is approximately 115 paper oz for each physical oz. Unfortunately as long as gold contracts exist the price can be heavily manipulated by creating more paper gold.
If you understand gold you deserve a medal because I don’t think anyone does. The current message is that gold is afraid of an aggressive Federal Reserve.
I suspect investors (who choose not to short the market) will move to cash. More puts yesterday than any day in history I read... The dollar is gaining strength and will continue to do so as money flees Europe.
I see gold as a back up battery - not an investment.
Yes and I have been trying to understand the meaning of the solar eclipse that never ended, but instead the black circle has been getting bigger, and bigger, all afternoon, Oh hey, wow it’s really dark now, that’s no moon...! [loss of signal]
