Both groups were a lot of fun to watch. For some reason, I remember Bonnie Raitt had someone playing a tuba in her group. Not a sousaphone...a tuba!
I always got the impression that Bonnie Raitt was a nice person. Maybe it was just an illusion. I’ll never know.
I’ve sometimes wondered what a rock band might sound like if it used a tuba (or sousaphone) in place of a bass.
