You are so right. It was where many Police lived as living in the City was a requirement.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Police all LEFT.

What a rotten City Philly has become.

And it was a great city with major department stores, many manufacture companies, in large numbers, were there and Entertainment, just search google (yeach) the Earle theater with live top notch orchestras performing......my Goodness, what a shame.

Except for a wedding and a funeral I haven’t been back to Philly in 20 years.

It seemed that when I was living and working there, the blight moved up one block per year along Allegheny, Kensington, and Frankford Avenues. Looks like Mayfair has succumbed. What’s next Tyson and Bustleton Avenues?
