Romaine Gary sounds like an illusive, mischievous and very interesting character. I may have to look at some of his work to see if I am the right kind of reader for his style of writing. I’ll know one way or another after a few pages.

According to Wiki, Romain Gary also wrote part of the film script for the World War Two epic The Longest Day.
