Just watched a DVD from the Celebration Day box set with Jason Bonham on drums. It was the practice session of their entire concert. About as good as it gets.

I’m a veteran of several Led Zeppelin concerts at MSG. Saw the Physical Graffiti tour and the Presence tour. Just awesome!

Saw them opening night at the Garden on June 7, 1977.
Led Zeppelin = Greatest. Band. Ever!!
Also saw this Page-Plant tour, though the ‘98 tour was much better.

Was never a HUGE fan of Zep but watching those two perform together is pretty cool, I’ve only ever seen that kind of ‘vibe’ watching musicians perform with one other band and that was KISS during their first few shows back in 96. And before you flame me to death I am NOT equating KISS and Zep, just making an observation on how well they fit together.

BTW- don’t know if you are aware of this or this was purely coincidental but 42 years ago today John Henry Bonzo Bonham died, ending the reign of the mightiest band of all time.

The Presence tour. That was a great show. Nobody’s Fault But Mine and Achilles Last Stand was just awesome.

Still the best concert ever.

Purely coincidental, RIP Bonzo, even though I was pissed hearing the news since I had tickets to see them for the first time in the fall of 80.

John Bonham was a good drummer.
I always remember the story of he and John Lennon snorting heroin and laughing maniacly in between vomiting.

The Presence tour. That was a great show. I heard those concerts weren't good because Jimmy Page was strung out on heroin.
