If it was Clayton Kershaw or Julio Urias I would think so. But it was Andrew Heaney and Phil Bickford both who are fighting for a post season roster spot. Plus manager Dave Roberts looked upset after Bickford threw that pitch.

If pitchers were helping him, it shows he was popular. They probably didn’t help ARod, in contrast.

With a 21 game lead in the NL West, the fans weren't standing during Pujols at bats rooting for a walk or strikeout. 699 was grooved. 700 was boarder line inside lower half of the strike zone.
