It's exactly the point. The mandates were part of the coverup of the crime of building the virus. The same government that victimized all of humanity also REFUSED to allow other treatments and actively censored information about the origin of the bio-weapon.

Almost all of the mandates were imposed by state and local governments. Why would state and local governments, many headed by Republicans, take part in such a cover up?
