I once met Moe and Larry from the Three Stooges (Curley and Shemp had long since passed). Moe and Larry were friendly and polite.
I doubt if the same could be said about Mayor Lightfoot.
My Mom met Moe Larry and Curly when she worked at a high end dinner house. She said Moe and Larry had a table with their wives and Curly sat at a different table. They really didn’t like each other so much at that point they couldn’t even share a table together. She said Moe and Larry were very stand offish and even unfriendly, but Curly was as nice as could be and she really liked him.
That is so cool. They were geniuses in performing their shorts. As a kid, I just laughed at their antics. As an adult, I marvel at at what they did.
They had to come up with the stories, plan the gags, rehearse and film. And a lot of what they did would be unthinkable to perform today.
