I bet it is, they just haven't noticed it yet.

Periodontitis is linked to heart disease and inflammation. Inflamation and circulatory problems can probably be linked to all kinds of stuff.

The company Viome has a oral kit out along with the rest of their testing protocol. And they’re supposed to tell you what’s going on in your mouth in the way of cancers and other problems. I ordered the kit and I plan to take it in 2 1/2 months. My problem is that I started a penicillin protocol and you have to wait 2 1/2 months before he can take a test. But I’m interested to see how my mouth rates because I have had periodontal problems for the last 40 years.

That looks interesting. But at $350 for the oral+gut+cancer I’ll hold off on that one

I had a root canal go bad that ate away a good portion of bone in my upper jaw. Caught it last year. They said it would grow back. Next time they x-ray I’m going to ask them to be sure and shoot that area.

My gum disease went away after I went low carb. I’ve been carnivore the last four years, no more loose teeth or bleeding gums.

Fascinating. I have heard of a couple other people who had similar results, and now it makes more sense to me.

How long after going lo carb/carnivore did it take to notice gum changes?

I didn’t notice it until Jordan Petersen said his gum disease went away. Might have been the first six months.

I was keto for four months before going carnivore. Counting carbs and managing the vegetables got to be a pain in the butt. Then I started seeing people talking about all meat. Seemed extreme but I tried it and like it.
