Whenever I see a section of a questionnaire asking for my “RACE”, I’m tempted to check the box for “Other”, and then write-in “Human”...
It's as if the racial-purity construct of the KKK and Nazi ideology is what liberals and most others still use to define race. If you have even a "taint" of "non-white" ancestry then that taint defines you, not your majority ancestry. If you're trying to be truly balanced this would make no sense. Obama is "mostly white" not "black."
This has all kinds of repercussions. For example, leftists like to proclaim "whites will be in the minority by 20XX." But under a non-KKK definition of race a lot of "blacks" would realize they are actually "mostly white." That could spark some interesting soul-searching among folks with a mixed ancestry and undermines the "white minority" thesis.
