When I was talking about demons lying, I was focused like a laser, on one issue, and one issue only. That is if you ask them if Jesus has come in the flesh? I am not sure, but this may be the one area that they can not be deceiving. I just don’t know.
As far as fallen angels go, Satan obviously had to lie to the other angels, about them becoming like the most high. The angels had never heard a lie before. It was new to them. They had a choice to make. I figure God must have communicated to Lucifer, that he was was close to crossing the Rubicon, from which there would be no return. Obviously, they didn’t heed the warning. After the fall, did some of the fallen angels wish they could return to the good graces of God? I don’t know. Maybe yes, but it was too late. They were irrevocably committed forever, to follow the path they had chosen.
Now, you may ask, could one of the righteous angels, suddenly decide one day, that he has served God long enough, and now wants to serve Satan? Theoretically, I think it’s possible, but I think it is 1,000% improbable. They have seen the power of God, up close and personal.
Evidently, the fallen angels are pretty unnerved, by the thought of hell fire 🔥 but they should have thought about that before they fell. Did God tell them about the lake of fire? 🔥 Who knows? They haven’t been there yet, so they don’t know how bad it will be. But I think it is infinitely worse than anything they could imagine in a million eons. The fallen angels in Tartarus, know exactly how bad it is. When the creed says Jesus descended into Hell, I think it was to Tartarus. He didn’t preach a second chance. He announced to them, that now, their doom was assured. There would never be another chance for them. I suspect the condemnation of Jesus is still reverberating through Tartarus, as they remember the glory they shared with God, and threw it all away. Truly a mystery.
Just a thought here, but when we try to imagine what must have gone on between Satan and other angels and God, we step way, way out of our depth.
The Bible tells us how things are, but it cannot give us the details because our minds are incapable of comprehending them and we have no context for them.
I am reminded of a friend of mine who work in the accounting department of Ford's big truck manufacturing plant in Louisville, KY. His oldest daughter (about 10 or so) asked him what he did at the plant...did he help build the big trucks?
He told her the though he didn't help assemble the trucks, he handled some of the paperwork that was required.
She was confused. So he added that to build the big trucks, all the individual parts that would eventually be assembled together had to be bought and paid for. And then, at the plant, those parts had to be kept in big closets so they could be found when they were needed.
Then he told her that he wrote the checks to pay for the parts and put them in the mail. And kept records where all those parts were in the closets. And he also wrote checks to pay for people working in the plant.
She understood all this.
When her little brother asked her what Dad had told her, she said she knew everything now...exactly everything that went on in the plant.
I won't bore you with the rest, but you see the problem.
God can only give us a truthful and honest overview. Everything he tells us is true, but it isn't ever remotely enough for us to understand.
Bottom line: the backstory of the Bible is infinitely more than we can even imagine. Satan's real fall and that of his contingent of angels is vastly over our heads. Even who they are and what they are and the realms in which they exist...
God told us what he could--what we could understand and what would remain truthful for thousands of years.
But it isn't even remotely enough for us to think we get it.
Paul taught that there is a physical 4D body and there is a spirit body. At the Rapture event those in Christ -alive and dead members of the body of Christ believers- will first be given a new glorified physical body of higher dimensional reality, then be gathered up into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and return to The Father's House. A demon can never have a glorified physical body, so when God remakes the Universe, these demons will be completely ejected yet exist forever in a place so opposite to God's love and Grace that it will be continuous torment.
The glorified body given at the time of the Rapture is superior to the spirit body. The demons want the physical but can only have physical senses if they invade an alive living organism.
A fallen Angel is not the same as a demon. The demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim. The Nephilim were not 'in the image of God' so they cannot ever have reality WITH GOD only away from God and God's Righteousness.
