What is the difference between Q and anons? Even among Q supporters the distinction is not consistent.

Anons are legitimate posters on 8chan/8kun, not random shit posters like nazi posters, anime porn posters, etc. Those are disruptors and likely FBI/CIA types trying to take the site down and discredit it. Many here bought into that scam. Anons are what Flynn has referred to as his 'Digital Army'.

Anons existed well before Q did. Q posts as a Trump sanctioned alt-comm info stream. Q is a small team close to Trump consisting of Military Intelligence and some civilians.

To use Qanon is to lump both elements together. Personally, I have no problem with that. It defines the movement in a simple manner, as long as people know the difference (which they don't). I refuse to get my panties in a twist over it.

Now you know the difference between Q and anon.

There’s been too much made about the right terminology regarding Q/Qanon. The poster or posters who originally started posting the Q drops was originally referred to as Qanon by the users on 4chan. These were posts from an anonymous professed insider who always ended his posts with “Q”. After a while followers started to refer to the poster as “Q” or “Qanon” interchangeably. Everyone understood what was meant. Q even used the term Qanon. At some point, many in the Q community determined it was wrong to use the term Qanon. As near as I can tell, it happened after the following post from Q on 10/17/2020:

There is ‘Q’. 1
There are ‘Anons’. 2
There is no ‘Qanon’. 3
Media labeling as ‘Qanon’ is a method [deliberate] to combine [attach] ‘Q’ to comments _theories _suggestions _statements [and ACTIONS] made by 2.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CANNOT ATTACK THE INFORMATION [primary source 1]?
DO YOU ATTACK [& TYPECAST] THROUGH USE OF OTHERS?
Not all ‘Anons’ are authentic [injected].
You are correct, CJ.
Retweet @ 17:17 had meaning. [mathematical probability _17:17 [day after]?]
Do you believe it was a coincidence surgical removal of You Tube accounts occurred same day as ‘Hunter’ drop?
Welcome to the Digital Battlefield.
