Remdesivir was never 'preferred' for Omicron, and the successful monoclonal antibody treatment REGEN-COV even had its EUA revoked for Omicron.
They were both Alpha fighters, REGEN-COV being the far more proven of the two.
If doctors are still prescribing remdesivir for Omicron, that's not just a problem, that's a potential lawsuit.
I correctly opined that remdesivir AND REGEN-COV would eventually lead to the escape of a mutation.
Eventually, a South African AIDS + long-Covid patient who had received the gamut of Rx (probably both remdesivir & REGEN-COV; and probably not Plaquenil or ivermectin) had both Alpha and Beta languishing in his system, and he subsequently produced the volatile Omicron mutation just in time for the 2021 holiday season.
Early in the pandemic, doctors worldwide reported high success rates using inexpensive hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and over-the counter zinc.
Within months, citing major research studies, government health agencies banned the use of HCQ. However, Dr. Harvey Risch, Professor Emeritus of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, writing in Newsweek, reported the HCQ dosages in the studies cited by the FDA were known to be toxic.2
o Doctors reporting success with HCQ used 200 mg per day for a few days or weeks.2
o The Recovery Trial study funded Bill & Melinda Gates, used 3 2,400 mg of hydroxychloroquine during the first 24 hours and a cumulative dose of 9,200 mg over 10 days
o The World Health Organization’s Solidarity Trial,4 used 2,000 mg on the first day, and a cumulative dose of 8,800 mg over 10 days.
o Furthermore, the adverse event reports cited by the FDA, which warned HCQ might cause cardiac arrhythmia, failed to disclose they were from patients who used HCQ for very long periods of time for diseases like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.2
A July 1, 2020 Retrospective 5,6,7, of 2,541 patients in Michigan found use of hydroxychloroquine alone cut mortality by more than half, from 26.4% to 13.5%. Patients received 400 mg of hydroxychloroquine twice on day 1, followed by 200 mg twice a day for the nest four days.
September, 2021 4,600 + Doctors & Scientists Accuse COVID policymakers of “Crimes Against Humanity”. The Physicians Declaration, created during the Rome COVID Summit, accused policymakers of forcing a one-size-fits-all treatment strategy, resulting in needless illness and death.8
