I still believe this may be the one thing in the world the British still do better than anybody else - the pomp and ceremony of these grand (although in this case, also sad) ceremonies.

Now, it was my understanding that they were not supposed to show the royal family’s faces during the funeral, but they are showing them.
They have also shown some awesome shots from the inside of the Abbey. I was very impressed by the shot from straight down over the casket.That was a’wow’ moment.

I have an affinity for England because I lived there for 5 years as a little girl when my Dad was stationed there. We lived off base in Margate, Hayes, and East Ruislip, so I had a lot of interaction with the British ppl. My mother was also born and raised in Manchester and came to the States in 1950 to marry my USAF father whom she’d met 2 years earlier. Interestingly, I only have 12% English DNA according to Ancestry, with the rest being Irish, Scottish & Welsh.
