‘’What could possibly go wrong?’’
So they said as the “Unsinkable’’ Titanic’’ slid down the slipways.
A buddy of mine once dropped a socket wrench onto a good car battery.
Wouldn’t you know it the wrench fell in such a way the thing land on both battery terminals at once.
Man, the shower of sparks was like The Fourth Of July!
I would rather take my chances with the 1973-1987 Chevy pickups with the exploding gas tanks that Lyin’ Brian Williams warned us about.
I must tell you, there is no comparison. I have often welded with a car battery and cables. And, I know my way around direct current as would the son of an electrical engineer. Try if you you must.
You know your way around direct current yet you accidentally poked a hole in a rechargeable battery and started it on fire?
I can’t reconcile those two.
Don’t be an troll.
Not only am I not a troll, but I changed a battery like that myself, and, knowing of the danger, was extremely careful to avoid damaging the battery while removing it.
I also made sure to dispose of the battery properly, knowing that just throwing it in the trash could result in the trash can or a garbage truck going up in flames.
I think before I do.
You are a troll and an asswipe. So move along before I focus on you.
Wow. Any other insults? Maybe you should have asked your daddy how to replace a battery without starting a fire?
