That cover is an access to a 12V DC jump port? And is on every Tesla? Is it not locked from the inside? Can I avail myself of this 12V DC port?
(I know zero about EV’s, I know a lot about ICE’s)

Unless you have some kind of attachment device for conventional 12VDC, that ain’t gonna make it work. Where do I clamp the positive? Where do I clamp the negative?

There will never be enough
infrastructure in place to support
the total of 300,000,000 vehicles now
on America’s roads if all were EV’s.
