Joe Bastardi, who seems to do rather well with his midrange forecasts, forecasted a very mild, long summer that would last through October. Then he said Nov, Dec, and Jan were going to be really rough in the northeast.
Not sure what he’s saying for the rest of the country or the later part of winter. I just paid enough attention to what he was predicting to get us set for the winter.
Before the snow flies and the prices skyrocket, we are going to top off our propane, fuel oil, and try to have as much firewood cut, split, and stacked to get us into next year.
We also had a phenomenal harvest from my garden this year so will have enough food to manage with what we get from the stores as well.
