I’ve watched old films of the death of George VI and Winston Churchill - the lying in state, the public viewing, the funeral procession.
I have not seen more dignified events. Its very difficult to imagine someone exposing themselves in that era.

The age of dignity is over - we have replaced quiet reflection with noise. Gentle gestures with anger.
