I think they’re pretty cool. Very quiet, quick acceleration, and great torque for off road use. Great for back country scouting and hunting. Still too pricey tho.
Hybrids have the potential for very good performance due to the low end torque of an electric motor.
This is the reason there will be a new Corvette hybrid, massive down-low acceleration.
Outside of that, batteries do not have the energy density required for a motorcycle. You need a motor to recharge them.
As an ex-motorcyclist, I think the idea sucks. Now, the cage driver can say “I didn’t hear him” OR see him coming. That’s only part of the equation, though.
