TG I cannot say. This was 8 years ago so I cannot remember the battery powered lawnmower model. I bought at HD and returned it 2 weeks later.

I use a gasoline powered self propelled lawnmower. But my other trimming tools such as chain saw, edger and string trimmer are electric. Via extension cords. The battery string trimmer I have is too under powered.

” This was 8 years ago “

I bought mine five years ago. That was the time I remember thinking battery powered would be adequate.

Eight years ago I would agree that cordless mowers were inadequate for all but the tiniest yards.

I bought my cordless trimmer 8 years ago. My corded edger is hanging on the wall, unused for 8 years.

Sometimes I have to go a little slower to edge the fast growing St. Augustine but it is worth it to not fuss with the cord.

But I am running 18v and 0.065. I want to upgrade but the dang thing won’t die. 8 years of weekly use and no battery degradation that I can notice.

Kobalt has a 80v 0.080 model that uses the same battery as my mower! It would be quick but the battery is heavy.
