Nearly 40 years ago, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration put a lifetime ban on the use of blood donations from men who have sex with men (MSM). This act is not only discriminatory and homophobic, but also aids in the national blood shortage. The ban is out-dated and creates a false pretense on HIV blood contamination.
To address this injustice, premium denim designer MOTHER is launching The Gay Blood Collection during this month's New York Fashion Week. This collection of art tools are a proactive and progressive stride towards ending the stigma surrounding gay blood.
This first-of-its-time collection created a unique ink from MSM blood in collaboration with pigment artist, Stuart Semple, with the intention to drive attention and raise awareness for this issue.
The collection includes Gay Blood Acrylic Paint, Gay Blood Fountain Pen, Gay Blood Paint Pen, Gay Blood Screen printing ink, Gay Blood Spray Paint.

The culture of death strikes again!
That bloody exhibit is not going to convince someone who needs a blood transfusion, that HIV tainted blood is going to be ‘just fine’. Who wants to take such risks when you don’t have to? No. Keep the blood of those with HIV or Monkey Pox separate from all other blood. Those insulted don’t have to like it.
All for faggotry the poofters, lesbos, trans and their allies with depraved minds demand we all surrender ... including endangering lives so they can feel normal and accepted.
Instead homosexual acts should be illegal, personal pronouns not honored, and medical mutilations forbidden.
Remind me not to ever touch a painting again.
No blood from less than 1% of men is causing a shortage?
Bullshiite, they just want to spread their disease.
Yep, gay-blood paint, gay-blood ink, that will eliminate gay/HIV/AIDS stigma. I swear that every day things seem to be getting crazier.
Keeping gay men from donating blood was to keep non-gay people from getting a deadly disease prevalent among gay men. Has that threat gone away, or are normals just supposed to take the risk so that gay men don’t left out?
Per the WHO, 40% of monkeypox cases, who have a known HIV test result (which is primarily a certain demographic likely to take HIV tests), have HIV.
40% is not “a false pretense on HIV blood contamination”.
That guy always makes me laugh, even when I’m having a serious discussion!
Walking on my lunch hour and listening to Rush with earphones
he read a news story that a homosexual performance “artist” set up a device in a theater. The audience was hit with AIDs patient’s blood, dripping from wires pulled across the area over their heads. They felt the wet blood on themselves in order to “teach them what the terror of being gay in America with AIDS is like for us.”
I had been stepping onto a restored railroad freighthouse step in a tourist area of town near work.
As I took that step I firmly decided NEVER to have mercy on a Dem again.
I want to say these people can’t get any more sickening, but it will get worse.
Bullsh*t raised to the googolth power. Nope, that g word is not a misspelling.
:sigh: The ban was a direct result of a hemophilic child contracting HIV after a blood transfusion. The blood was traced back to a homosexual who was HIV positive and later died of AIDS. It has nothing to do with bigotry and had everything to do with preserving public health. Anyway they call me “racist” for knowing history, but I proudly stick my middle finger in the faces of those Nihilists.
Things like this is why normal people don’t like “gay” lifestyle.
That will definitely fix everything
The ban allegedly contributed to a blood shortage but this mentally ill behavior doesn’t?
Satanic.
Could be worse than blood.
Don’t touch the brown parts.
