And add schizophrenic....
I sadly watched my best friend's brother, who was around 30 years old, develop schizophrenia. It's a horrible disease that affects every member of the family.....
In my friend's brother's case, he lost his business, lost his wife, lost his home and in the beginning he ended up living on a beach in northern Michigan until fall arrived and my friend was able to get the brother institutionalized for a period of time.
Paranoid schizphrenics tend be drawn to conspiracy theories for obvious reasons. But we don’t know this man suffered from schizophrenia. Schizophrenia usually first presents between the late teens and early 30s. If he did suffer from it, it would be highly unusual for his first psychotic episode to occur at such an advanced age.
I’ve no doubt the man was mentally unstable, probably even before he became obsessed with Q and the vaccines. The isolation and ridicule those obsessed with Q (and other conspiracy theories) experience probably added to his mental instability. If Q had never existed, he might have obsessed over something else (climate change, lizard people, the Illuminati, contrails, etc.). My heart goes out to surviving family. What a terrible tragedy.
Mental health has taken a backseat and allowed to live on inside of its infected.
I was all for closing the institutions during the Engler years.
Now, I’m wondering if we went a bit to far. At least get them off the streets, 3 hots and a cot. Winters are brutal in Northern Michigan.
