I have a close friend Asian US born church buddy with BS degree in Theology who learned to fly with his dad’s single engine Piper Cherokee, upgraded himself to commercial multi engine instrument rating to airline transport pilot, flew as 737 co-pilot with Delta Air, minority Asians suffer more bias than blacks and Hispanic, went to Asia, learned, familiarized with Airbus’ fly by wire, became copilot of Airbus 320/321 with Vietnam Air, after accumulated enough flying hours and experience, got his captainship on Airbus 321. Got hired captain at AirAsia in Indonesia he enjoyed captainship for almost 2 years, then this Covid-19 thing came in to lockdown, at resumption of AirAsia all pilots must get Covid-19 injection, he said screw it. He came back to U.S., train first on Fairchild Metroliner III, humbly flew as cargo pilot no copilot. Now he’s flying Cessna SkyCourier with FedEx, imagine giving up high paying Airbus 321 captainship instead of taking freakin’ Covid-19 injection? He told me the Covid-19 injections are mark of the beast. I think Fedex matched his Airbus 321 captain's pay.
