I say again, that’s what it looks like to me as well, a gigantic Russian trap and the only surprise in the picture for Russians has been the sheer numbwer of hohos walking or rolling into it. I.E. Russians likely did not picture that many really stupid people in the hoho army. Same thing around Kherson but at least that was well away from the Russian border. Around Kharkov, the Russian airforce is just over a nearby border. This has to get ugly for the hohos and nato guys in a sort of a hurry.
I actually do not see it this way, but who knows? The 800 miles front is indeed a problem, especially when facing a numerically superior enemy, even if the tecnological advantage is yours.
The Ukrainians concentrated on the least important and the least defended area and won their headlines even though it is not a lot of victory for them and not a lot of defeat for the other side.
You can bet on the media to spin it with all the hubris, totally ignoring the catastrophe of the offensive in every other area.
