As for globalism, perhaps the biggest winner in Europe in a victory over Russia and the end of Putin would be the anti-globalist Poland, a NATO ally and genuine friend of America. In the meanwhile, the energy shortage caused by the Ukraine conflict has exposed the green energy agenda as a destructive fantasy, and tonight's reports are of a great election victory by Sweden's Center-Right coalition.
Call me an optimist, but globalism has been exposed as a folly and will soon fade in its European stronghold. With NATO reinvigorated and Ukraine free and in political sympathy with Poland, European politics will become more nationalist and free market. A post-Putin regime in Russia will have to adopt free elections for the sake of legitimacy and align with the US against China as a matter of national strategy.
What are you high on?
I am an optimist as well, but I don’t have much hope for Russia. They have deeply embraced the thought patterns that Harold Bloom called “The School of Resentment”. I am afraid they will just invent some scapegoat and keep being their shitty selves.
