No just put it back the way it used to be.
Especially the last two years has seen a marked degradation of our medical system to the point once nice hospitals are so bad you just have to get up out of your bed, leave and go home.
Yes I actually had to do that because I was stuck in a room for 18 hours with no water, food, medicine, bathroom or attention. I unplugged the machines, walked out and the nurses waved goodbye.
Sure it was a relief for them to have one less patient (which I think was the point).
Meanwhile a guy in the hallway died of a heart attack as he was left unattended. Oops he’s dead, our bad.
One trick pony you are. If you read the poll there is not a word about vaccinations. I would hazard a guess that your statements play into their hand. Those polled will Leona my tell your jet the speed of vaccination was great and they are glad to get it free.
They will use you and your colleagues constant railings against you.
Health care is a commodity. Nothing more, nothing less. As such it is subject to the market forces. One people learn that we can have a decent discussion about how to fix it. (Incidentally that was meant not for you but for idiots on the left like the guy who spoke to the AP. )
Those sound like leftist talking points so simple and sincere question.
How would you fox it?
My mother had emergency surgery last week at a hospital in Rochester, NY. The doctors consistently were excellent.
Next level down, the nursing staff was about 50/50 — some good, some not so good. (Day nurses better than night nurses which is typical judging by past experience.)
But regular support staff ... omg. It seemed to be a make-work project for minorities. Minorities with attitude.
One day, the day after Labor Day, a dark-skinned lobby receptionist had Security evict us and order us to go outside on a chilly Rochester day. He said that only people waiting for someone in surgery could be there.
We had been there for three days prior with no problem. We had spoken with others waiting and their situation was exactly like ours. Only difference was that we have fair skin and blue eyes.
Pre-Obama I doubt that this would have happened. Hospital personnel used to have some empathy and respect for family members of patients. But Obama, the “Great Uniter”, really stirred up a hornets’ nest.
End of story: From outdoors my brother and I made calls to Administration. Hubby (home in TN) called Patient-Family Relations. Fifteen minutes later the receptionist came outside and kissed our asses practically begging us to come back in. She said her boss called and told her to let us in.
I have a feeling she had one of her worst days of the year. Probably most people would just leave and do nothing, and she was counting on that. We didn’t do that.
Healthcare has deteriorated immensely.
They fell just sort of offering to turn brown eyes blue.
Credibility: Gone.
We got Obamacare shoved down our throats, the US now has a form of official government healthcare, and things got MASSIVELY worse. So the libs answer, we need more government healthcare.
These people are horribly evil and mendaciously driven
I try to tell people health insurance (no matter who pays for it) is not health care
I do that anyway
