And DUMBGRUNT is furiously double-posting paragraphs!

I've posted this a number of times, but it is well worth reading (or watching the embedded video) for a clear, level-headed look at the materials needed for the first generation of the "green revolution." Bottom line: "The “Green Revolution” Is Impossible."

In a 1956 scientific paper Marion King Hubbert introduced the world to the theory of peak oil where he predicted that US peak oil production would occur between 1965 and 1971 and that global peak oil would occur in the early 2000’s.

Copper Supply
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), 2019, global copper reserves are estimated at 830 million metric tons, with annual demand being 28 million metric tons. In addition, discovered and undiscovered deposits based on geological surveys, including reserves, total over 5 billion metric tons (USGS, 2014, 2017). Take into account that copper is 100% recyclable and it is safe to say that there is currently enough copper to meet EV demand.

“Our research predicts this increase will raise copper demand for electric cars and buses from 185,000 tonnes in 2017 to 1.74 million tonnes in 2027,” Gonzalez said.

well personal transportation will only be affordable for the rich and political elite once they go all green on energy

so that is why they are not worried about it

the serfs get bus subway bike or a good pair of sneakers

they promise jetsons
you get flintstones
