I was on another site that day and a poster who was visiting relatives in Scotland said that the Queen had died but they were not announcing it yet in order to have time for some of the kids to get there.

Cultures that believe in 'dignity, duty, and stiff upper lip' are the exact opposite of cultures that wallow in 'self-pity, excuses, and drama'. King Charles made the right decision.
