I am thinking that it is more short-term than that. Trump has his own lawsuit in the works against the DOJ/FBI for spying on him in 2016 and for the fake Russia garbage they generated.
This is just the orc version of “discovery”. They wanted his evidence to see or destroy it.
I think that lawsuit was tossed the other day (if we are talking about same suit)
