Same here. Loved the tape recorder self destructing on MI as a kid. Watched Hawaii Fünf-Null reruns as a young schoolgirl, when we lived in Switzerland for awhile. It was hilarious in German for some reason. But not as funny as Flipper (”Fleepah! Fleepah!”), Dragnet aka Polizeibericht, Gunsmoke aka Rauchende Colts or Mod Squad aka Twen-Police.
I use the MI lines such as”captured or killed / disavow” and “good luck Jim” a lot at the office.
