Every school should be equipped with a glass encased time-out office. My high school had one and it was effective keeping kids in line.

The kid can sit there until he calms down and is prepared to behave.

Yea a lot of schools, mostly primary, have them they are called “seclusion rooms”. Some parents have complained about those because their kids are put in them all the time.

Sounds like the kid does not want to work and just wants a constant time out or really just can’t handle the situation at hand.

These days a student would fight going into the room. The school can’t force them. Then if they somehow manage to get the student into the room these days he would smash the windows. So many young people are completely out of control now.

Wrong. Mainstream public education is no place for those type kids. They need to be in alternative schools.
