Why 'Educated' Liberal Women Are the Real Threat to Our Republic

When last Thursday night Joe Biden told America, "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans" threaten "the very foundations of our republic," he missed the mark. The real threat comes from the unlikeliest of suspects: educated liberal females, or "ELFs" for short.

These are the women who will proudly vote Democrat regardless of soaring inflation, rising gas prices, rampant crime in the streets, the unchecked flood of illegal aliens, and oppressive COVID policies that have irreparably damaged all children, the poor most notably.

If NBC's polling from April is to be believed, this is the only demographic cohort more favorably inclined to Democrats in 2022 than in 2018.  Unable to sell these women on his accomplishments — there are none — Biden last week appealed to their paranoia.  What made this pitch strategic is his target audience's proven susceptibility to fear-based propaganda.

At the core of the ELFs' vulnerability is their ignorance, if not at the top, certainly among the masses.  This should not surprise.  Everywhere and always, men have performed better on political knowledge tests than women (just as conservatives routinely outperform liberals and independents).  Researchers exploring this particular gender gap long ago gave up on questioning whether this was true and have focused instead on why.

Avoiding the obvious answer — namely, that men and women, being different, have different interests — researchers have spent millions of your tax dollars on the improbable and irrelevant.  Among the more popular hypotheses is that women are more risk-averse than men

If you track Presidential races since 1918 when women got the vote, not one single Democrat president would have gotten into office without the women’s vote carrying him over the top.

Democrats would have been elected President. But they would have adjusted their policies to please the all-male voting base. Both major parties have continually adjusted their policies to changing demographics and changing times.

The real solution is term limits, 6 years and out. And how do I know this? No politicians want it.

Not really a solution. The Deep State is the permanent government bureaucracy. The FBI, CIA, Pentagon, State Dept, all the agencies set their own policies.

In addition, the corporate oligarchs of Big Media, Big Tech, Big Finance, Big Pharma, and the old Military-Industrial Complex have more power than Congress or the President.

Together, the Corporate Oligarchs and the Deep State run this country. The President and Congress are just there to promote their bosses' agendas while creating the illusion that the people have a say.

Trump made the mistake of acting like he had real authority, and the Oligarchs and Deep State blocked his policies, then ejected him from office.

So term limits wouldn't change anything, other than placate the people for a while.

Smart liberal women are the ones filling up law schools. Women have had a majority in law school attendance for a few years now. As they go to work, their influence will be seen in the judiciary.
On the upside, they don’t reproduce much so the next generations of lawyers could swing the pendulum back a bit.

term limited pols would be less likely to go along to get along with the bureaucrats knowing they wouldn't have to curry favor to enable them to remain in office for decades.

Setting aside the vote fraud, it was Karen from the cul-de-sac that put Biden in office.

Again, setting aside the voter fraud, Trump got the biggest R share of the Black vote and Hispanic vote ever, or at least in years. But he got crushed by suburban white women.

And this may happen again if he runs in 2024. Nobody wants to hear it but the way many states have implemented their abortion laws, without much input from their citizens except for a small vocal minority, has angered and motivated many women voters. The mid terms will give us an idea of just how motivated women are to vote and what party they will support will be telling. It will perhaps be a harbinger of what the 2024 election cycle will hold.

I can only hope that we as Republicans can get the conversation turned to things that matter to people like inflation, wars, border issues, and so on. If we allow the opposition to control the narrative we could be in trouble.
