And the definitions are moving targets.

It’s a nice thought, but this is why there are wrongful prosecution lawsuits.

Prosecution of the charges on Rittenhouse had to go through the grand jury process. That group is supposed to act as a speed bump against out of line prosecutors. They are presented prosecution evidence and they determine if probable cause had been established.

So, you are going against law that has been in place for more than 300 years and which is the basis for all serious criminal prosecution in our nation.
