I have an intern right now who is a university of Chicago student. I’m impressed that not only is it the #8 best college in the US, but #1 for free speech. Too bad it’s so pricey—like $60k/year tuition or so.
I’m willing to bet some of that $60,000 a year tuition cost is for the extra money they have to spend on campus police/security compared to if it were located in a suburban area and not in Chicago.
But I will give them credit where credit is due if they are doing what they are supposed to be doing and actually trying to turn out productive members of society.
