Joe Biden and his handler Dr. Jill traveled across town to sign the condolence book for Queen Elizabeth at the British Embassy in Washington DC.
Joe is so incapacitated that his handlers had to write down his message for him on a card before he signed the condolence book.
CSPAN did us all a favor by zooming in for a closeup of Biden copying his pre-written card into the book – You can’t make this up!

Hell, I remember that speech in which he said he drove a truck from Atlanta to Texarkana and back to smuggle some Coors Beer. According to him, Hunter was running point for him in a sports car and picked up a runaway bride along the way. Good times!
I can understand having a pre-planned written message, esp. if you are not the most “eloquent” off the cuff writer. (we can argue over whether the “President” of the US should be able to do this in his sleep, but I digress)
More disturbing to me .... is how feeble and off-balance Biden looks to be when he’s walking in and out. Plus, he seems so confused about where to go and what to do, it’s very unsettling and rather pathetic & abusive at the same time.

I sometimes write a sentence or two on a “cheat sheet” to ensure I get the message down I want and transfer my thoughts word for word...
When Biden was with the Obongo’s the other day he barely remembered their daughters names, it was very very close.
Another fake headline and non story.
Biden pulled a card out of his jacket and copied it into the condolence book. No aide handed him anything. Even if a speechwriter wrote up a nice statement for him its no big deal.

The Queen was inconsiderate about the warnings they need to get the Leader of the Free World properly medicated enough to make a public appearance.
As it is, Joe starts to drift after 20 minutes, and they never risk more than 40 minutes in front of a camera. He starts looking around for approval, and says, "I'm a good little doggie!"

Did you know Ronald Reagan was one of the first people in the US to wear contacts? Before giving a speech he would remove one contact then look at his cards with one eye and the audience with the other.
Bullsh*t. Doing so, in writing words of condolence in such a setting, is completely classless. That it is the President of the United States doing so is humiliating.
All that said, there's something to be said for the notion that Joe Biden is the perfect representative for what it, as this point, an embarrassing joke of a country.
He very well could have.

I could cut someone some slack as well, but in this case, it is a national embarrassment. I’d probably do something similar if I wanted to make sure I got my sentiments across correctly for someone whom I respected highly.
However, in this case, he’s likely copying only what someone else wrote for him as he wouldn’t have a clue what to say himself.
Slow Joe is the dumbest kid in the class, always copying off of someone else.
