Yes, and weaponizing government against normal people was the key in Lenin’s regime and consolidating all police activities under one headquarters was the key in Germany. Both of these seem somewhat to be the case here. The Dept of Homeland Security has certain authority given it over all state and local police in the event of a ‘national emergency’. The dems do want to create a scenario to enable such state of emergency to be declared.
