I first learned about Tex-Mex when I lived in Del Rio, and I’ve never been the same since. I love the stuff! I even learned to speak a smattering of Tex-Mex, which you MUST learn if you’re not going to sound like a hick. I loved that, too!

It’s 51° out, with a high of only 78 Fs. No rain in sight for the next two weeks, but the temps are dropping. Fall must be here. So I’ll try to get the door painted today.

I opened the door just a crack, but I don’t think I’ll ever get the stale tobacco odor out completely, even with the filter running 24/7.

The shower water was tepid again, even though I ran the hot water for a few minutes last night and again this morning. “Boats and no Liberty; Liberty and no boats.” It’s either scalding or tepid.

Please keep my sister in your prayers. She’s in the Clearwater area staying put. She’s in a Cat 5 rated building with some co-workers, working communications for the storm. She has an office, a cot, there are showers and she packed some clothes and stuff.
