Looks like the king required it.
looks like Andrew will be wearing the uniform at the final vigil.
Harry is wearing medals also, but wont be allowed to wear his uniform.
Looks like there is a precendent...all the princes wore medals on their civvies at Philips funeral. Looks like the “no uniforms” there was ordered by the quee.
As I recall, the collective generals asked Andy not to wear their uniform.
If the king overrides the generals’ request, that’s another matter.
