True - the cry of racism is thrown around rather lightly these days. It is used more as a trump card to shut down discussion than to identify actual racist thought, speech, and action.

“I’m interested in the ideas expressed, not the person expressing them.”

This is an unfortunate statement. People form ideas through various means - personal experience, thought, influence, external information, beliefs, to name a few. The ideas expressed are a conglomeration of everything that brought the idea into existence. Separating the idea from the person excludes the very essence of that idea itself.

I was thinking of on this board. We posters don’t know each other.

I’m also I’m bad remembering names. And I’m lazy.

My main interest being here is getting clues on what the heck is going on in the world. FreeRepublic is an excellent source but there are numerous others that provide clues.
