The US and EU continue to prop up Zelensky and Ukraine, in a conflict that would have been over some time ago, were it not for the cash and weaponry.

Being drained of weapons and armory would be really useful if you wanted to have millions of third worlders suddenly invade a defenseless Europe.
The West doesn’t consider a land war lasting for months as credible, therefore we don’t need to deal with the cost of large stockpiles of conventional weapons.
