May have been a stroke but more likely to be a complicated migraine. It would be treated as a stroke with clot busters just to be sure. While not common it’s not exactly uncommon either. She would also have a large work up looking for a PFO (hole in the heart between the atria) that can allow paradoxical embolism of small venous clots and commonly associated with stroke in younger people.

If it’s a CVA first thing in my head for her age and gender is birth control medication. But I treat as if they’re old with blockage everywhere. LOL

Gave her IPA and WOW!
First and only time I saw it administered.
