A car battery won’t work very well to shock a person. The voltage is too low. You would need to add an ignition coil to get a high voltage for shocking a person.

With no other information the husband is the most likely suspect. That's based on data.
Perhaps you've never known a woman abused and killed by her husband. I, unfortunately, have known at least wo.
I would tell them to remember, red is positive and black is the negative. And to use those jumper cable clamps so they get a good connection.
I’m pretty radical when it come to things like this.
If they know they have their man, I’d give him 30 minutes to
give it some thought.
At the end of the 30 minutes, if he didn’t want to tell the
location of her body, I’d bring in the modified paper cutter
and ask which finger he was will to sacrifice first.
Then I’d use the paper cutter on it, and let him know he
had ten more minutes before the next choice would be made.
Guys like this are generally big cowards. They can dish
it but they can’t take it.
In this case they have him dead to rights.
What’s the hold up? You’ll know where he left her in less
than 30 minutes, almost guaranteed.
