Collins played collegiate tennis at the University of Virginia and won the NCAA singles title twice, 2014 and 2016, during her sophomore and senior years. She finished her career at Virginia in 2016 as the top-ranked collegiate player.
UVA is ‘up the road’ so we started watching her when she hit the pro circuit. She’s a “killer” - highly aggressive style & hits about the hardest you’ll see any of the women hit. She’s gradually making it farther & farther into the tournaments (semi-finalist level) & she’s going to win one of these days, probably not too far off in the future.
Definitely the hardest hitting, most aggressive female I have ever seen.
You can also tell she is wound tight. I think she wants to serve like 3 seconds after the last point. Fun to watch.
